The “Sentiero del Viandante”

Tratto del Sentiero del Viandante

The Sentiero del Viandante is an ancient mule track dating back to the Roman period which, traveling along the eastern coast of Como Lake and crossing small clusters of rural houses, old mills, castles, churches and chapels, winds at medium height, between woods and terraces, cultivated with vines and olive trees.

The trail climbs from Abbadia Lariana halfway up and down the inhabited areas and traces its history up to Colico, before penetrating to the foot of the Valtellina
